I may be one of the few that actually uses home fitness stuff. We have a schwinn spinning bike and some basic free weights that I use several days a week. Thought it would be nice to have ability to do some basic leg stuff, pull downs, flys, rows on the bowflex.

You can get a used one for like $300 on craigslist, but I know there are a bunch of different models. If anyone has experience on a good model it would be good to hear.

How come dudes that work out do nothing but stare at themselves in the mirror the whole time they are working out?

Seems gay to me.

Thats a generic statement, mainly refers to "Jersey Shore" types. Not everyone does that, or wears tight wifebeaters to the gym, thats gaaay.

In my mid twenties I was heavy into lifting (excuse the pun) and I hear you about the mirror thing. However, it is necessary for many exercises i.e. dumbell shoulder press to make sure that your doing it right and not going to drop a weight on one's head. One thing I learned is that it's not how much weight you lift, but how you lift the weight.

hahaha...I've had some time off and done some channel flipping. I caught a few minutes of that show and hands down that is the worst thing I've ever seen on TV.

Ultimate 2. Look on craigslist. I got mine still in the boxes for about 1/3 of list-- be patient. Good set of exercises.

I use our gym at the PD but have a bowflex. I use and don't mind the work out. If I'm training for something and can't get to the gym I use it a s fill in. nothing wrong with them just got to use it.
