You're probably having weird issues because your rear 02s are like, "aye mate, why the f*** aren't there cats in here"

Stream-of-conscience is great in your head; not so much when you type it out.

Agreed about people needing to put their truck information in the post if they have a question.

You did get answers, just not the ones you wanted. Let me guess, you just tied off the O2 sensor wiring after you cut out the cats? Here's a "new" suggestion. Replace the cats and sensors and then see if it runs like crap.

D2 behave different than D1 without CATs? I know plenty of CAT-less D1s that run perfect. Working O2 sensors are a must though.

I'm not positive on the Rover system, but on my other car the sensor pre cat and post cat are compared to measure catalyst efficiency. If you remove them(you shouldn't) you may need a small spacer to move the sensor out of the stream a bit to trick the truck into thinking it still has a cat.

You removed a part of the system that let's the engine know what it should be doing, and provided no indication that an further actions were taken. That's not how to solve a problem.

Install some good cats. You shouldn't modify a vehicle until it's working properly to begin with. Any problems you encounter could stem from issues you can no longer diagnose effectively.

Fix your shit before fucking with it.

I see that both shift keys and the period is broken on your computer. You should get them fixed so we don't think you are illiterate.

Then save some money and get new cats, or pick up some good used ones.

Are you sure that they were indeed clogged? If so, why were they clogged? Is there anything else wrong with the vehicle?

Again:

Removing parts after a failure and telling the vehicle to piss off by modifying other parts is not the proper way to go about things.

That's how you end up with a shit-box Land Rover.

Why don't you just sell your clogged ones to someone that would pay shipping and buy some cheap replacement cats to take there place?

I've actually got a stainless Magnaflow Y pipe (cats built in) here that I can sell. It's been sitting outside for about two years, and the threads on one o2 bung need to be chased (which is why it was sitting outside), but the entire Y pipe assembly is present and none of it is broken.

I don't imagine sitting outside would hurt the thing. When this was purchased, they offered two different types of cat. This is the better version that will keep the factory system much happier, while still allowing higher flow.

It comes with a "piss off if it doesn't work" warranty, but I'll let it go for $200 shipped.

Cheers,

Kennith

You guys and your catalyst converters. To the OP get spark plug cleaners drill the out put them in the rear of bugs the screw your of sensors in there. Don't let these crusty old farts get you down. Google it for a Honda civic running without cats same basic principal.
