96 Disco i just picked up from a friend (threespringsranch), being young dumb and 23 i went out for a touch of mud, ended up without a running lights on the front and rear passenger side, along with it went the brake light.. Have a very basic understanding of circuits, but i've been pretty intimidated since i took one look at the mess of wires inside the housing of the passenger tail light (that goes to the trailer hookup). any assistance, pointers or links for homework would be greatly appreciated, i AM currently using it as a daily-ish driver. I appreciate the time and energy of the forum, pretty invaluable tool. safe travels -t

If it has factory fog lights, check the bulbs. I had all kinds of weird crap happen once when one of the bulbs got shorted out.

Sincere apologies for being absent and nonrespondent. Have spent some time getting to know her, the whole circuitry thing is pretty simple. A few aftermarket accessories (cb radio, lights on roof rack and rear, Etc.) have altered the routing from the stock schematic but thanks to a push out the nest via intro to circuits from AFI rover I have narrowed it down to two specific connectors/grounds. I'm about an hour away from solving one of the most basic problems I've encountered with the thing, but after all the time and energy I can honestly say it will be worth it. One small step for a young'un. Went on some light trails through the Shasta trinity national forest today. Falling in love all over again...
