I retract all past comments and opinions. Who needs Google when you have Kennith? He knows everything, especially when it comes to a perfect light for working on your "retro" computers turbo button to give that 386 a little boost. Good luck with your future purchase, looking forward to see which light you choose. I will work on hiring a professional photographer to take a new avatar picture to appease all who own moldy land rovers with red letter tires, they are uniquely annoying. And I will be sure to post up some product info on their lighting as well.

Cheers :patriot:

You get ten Internet points for creativity, humor, and multi-impact wisecracks.

You lose one, though, because everyone knows the turbo button underclocked the CPU! :patriot:

I think Chris is right. The place is coming back from the dead. Nice to see an old member come back and sling a little mud.
Kennith it's kind of hard to argue that that would be a ha cry little light to have in your cubby box. For 8 bucks what the hell?

Hell, Harbor Freight gives the things away sometimes, and you can find them everywhere from Lowes to Dollar Stores. Obviously you'll want something nicer for everyday and tougher job use, but you can't go wrong with a few of these in addition.

There's no one light to cure all ailments. If you do a lot of stuff both in the garage and in the driveway, and have a habit of extending projects into the night, it will be a while until you end up with a system that works for you.

The Blue-Point unit looks like most LED flood lights, but they've gone about it differently. I searched around to see if I could find someone else making the same thing, because it looked like a common private label job, but it looks unique in many aspects.

Whoever is making the thing took a very custom order.

Depending upon the color temperature, that could be a very nice light to have around a car. It would combine well with a cordless work lamp for use around the engine bay, if it's bright enough to flood the underside of the vehicle effectively.

Cheers,

Kennith

I like that one. The reel is great. You can put it neatly away with one hand while your other hand is full of the rest of the shit that needs put away.

My house was built in 1860. I know where the shit house used to be. When I bought the place 20 years ago it had a coach house with a dirt floor and horse tack still hanging from nails, chicken feathers coming out of the rafters and a double barn door off the back of the house. Sometimes I wish I would have left all that alone instead of pouring concrete and sheet rocking the thing. Should have built a rustic shithouse for a small tool shed......ah shoulda coulda.

You'll soon get to the point where all you read of his posts are, Cheers, Kennith.

I had a twin tube fluorescent snap on drop light but the heavy shitty expensive batteries just aren't worth it. it was my favorite light, it had really good color. and a decent work time. I had made up my mind on never buying anything with a rechargeable battery from the truck again, then I bought this light. its even more horrible as it doesn't have a removable battery pack, however, it kicks ass. I love it and I will get anther when it eventually dies.
