I am looking for a VERY well maintained 98 or 99 Discovery I LE, LSE, SE or SE7, etc. Needs to be white or green, low mileage (preferably below 100k) and in really excellent shape inside and out. Must be bone stock and in the southeast. NO RUST.

Not in the southeast, but Ben Little is selling his 99 white D1. Beautiful rig and very well maintained.

I just sold my DII that only had VERY little surface rust on the frame from scrapes etc and rovertym bits, so there has to be a minimal rust example somewhere. How much do y'all think the LSE in the link is worth? Let's think realistically, not dweb prices....

You sir are basically looking for a mythical creature! IF, and thats a huge IF, you CAN find one that meets ALL of your criteria, wouldnt suprise me to see it going for +7000.

I wouldn't use your D2 as a reference because the prices for them are dropping like a boat anchor. Regardless, you could have a clean D1 for 3000 if you gave up on some of your requests.

The truck is for my mom, and that's what she wants. If I can have a 95 RRC sitting in my garage with little to no rust I can find a disco. If it takes $7k, that's what it takes.

Also, the DII was a rust reference, as is my 95.

Thanks Joel! I guess I have what some may call a mystical creature! But I got lucky with ours as it just fell into our lap and it didn't take 7 grand, so dont give up hope to find one!

They are out there. Even in the northern states. I just bought a '96 SE7 5-spd from Philadelphia. Super clean, 94k and maintained by the doctor owner at the dealership the whole time. I paid for it though. But the difference between this truck and my last one is night and day. Seeing the advantages of a well maintained truck I will always go this route as much as possible.

I would sell it if your mom is interested in a 5 speed.

I asked, she doesn't want a 5 speed... I think she had enough of that while she was in college. Thanks though.
