If you can't get these in the US, PM me your address and how many you want and I'll mail them from base. I don't know how much they are but I'll let you know?

Good to know the Big Brother is looking out for us... Like kids under 3 can't find some other small choking hazards around the house. :banghead:

none of your fucking business
I remember eating these while I was in Germany in my teens. They were delicious along with all the other german chocolate I bought over there. It's no wonder I was such a dumpy putz as a kid.

I saw that yesterday morning in my search for a local source. DWeb was busted so I couldn't post it though.

Looks like they will confiscate them on site at any entry point.:banghead:

Whether or not Kinder Eggs should be allowed into the US is not a defining issue for me.
However, I find it deliciously ironic that the Federal government is so dedicated to keep this "contraband" from crossing our borders.

When Lind Bird was recently stopped at the U.S. border and selected for a random search of her vehicle, she was surprised to learn that a $2 piece of candy could net her a whopping $300 fine.
TheBlaze.com said:
In addition, the U.S. government sent Bird a seven-page letter asking for her formal authorization to destroy her seized Kinder egg....If Bird wishes to contest the seizure, the letter notes that she can pay $250 for the egg to be stored until a compromise can be hammered out.

I would like to have some to give to my wife for Easter but I don't want to go to prison for trying to import them.

Kinder Eggs are not that great. They are good, by all means- better than anything Hershey's makes and a step up from most English chocolate (which isn't saying much), but I think Ritter Sport is a tastier German chocolate. I used to go ice climbing with this German lady who always brought Ritter Sport bars on our trips and they were good- especially the one with whole hazelnuts.

If the whole idea is an egg to keep with the Easter theme then a chocolate bar doesn't fit the bill, but it's something you don't see every day in the candy aisle.
