I searched and did not see this topic anywhere. But, forgive me if this has already been done.

This weekend was the annual Poconos/Spruce Cabin outting for R.O.V.E.R.S. and the subject of vehicle names came up. So, I'm curious -- what's the name of your Rover(s)?

My 2004 G4 Disco is The Great Pumpkin.

I named my DII "LAN Rover" since I'm putting in a computer I built for it. You know, Local Area Network...cheesy, I know. But, it aint easy bein cheesy.

I haven't had mine long enough to name it. It reminds me of a robin chick that fell from its nest and I tried to save it. I named him Hank. I learned never to name anything until you know it's going to survive.
I bought my D1 in August. If it takes me safely through the school year without any catastrophic failures, I'll give it a name this summer.

One of my motorcycles is named "The Deer Slayer", renamed after I hit a deer (pinned it and ran it over) at 60mph at mile 145 on the Blue Ridge Pkwy last Memorial Day weekend. The deer was killed instantly; the bike and I suffered minor injuries.

I don't name vehicles but my Series came with one and like boats, it's bad luck to change the name. Cairn is its name, but you have to say it with a scottish accent.

I meant to name it Brit, being british and all, HOWEVER, the other Brit (my gf of 4 years Brittney) took offense to it. Don't know why, must be one of those wierd women things...... So, it's called Rover, inventive huh????

LOL, c'mon Dan, where is the love!?!

Of course, my Disco is dysfunctional so it's dubbed a Dyscovery and her name is Cooter. I've had lots of good times with Cooter. She is going to be delegated to a trail beast once the P38 is road ready.
My P38 is as of yet unnamed but not unloved. I should call her greasy fingernail cause that is how my hands have looked like for the last 2 weeks working on pulling that damnable engine out.
