My was named "Ranger Rick" by my sponsor sister. It's the only name that I like. I usually refer to is as the disco. My friends call it Land Monster Bridge.

Yeah ranger rick. I dont really have a name for it. But thats what she called it. I'd love to give it some other name. But I don't really havent thought of a good one yet. I usually refer to it as my disco or "the big mess down in the parking lot" when somebody is trying to find it in the parking lot.

Ours are usually just "The Disco and the Rangie"
however, my college girl friends named mine "The Goldie Box" because that is what it looks like.

NO COMMENTS ON THAT ONE, DAN!

When we are working on them...I try not to cuss at it, but Ivan calls them "Damn British Junk"

:(

I am thinking of naming mine " Hole in the ground" because that is where I dump money.

It all started when my Dutch girlfriend named my 356 Porsche "Piglet" back in 1972-

Now I have (in addition to Piglet):

1966 blue 109 diesel wagon - "Eeyore" (sorta slow)
1967 yellow 88 pickup - "Pooh"
1991 RRC Hunter - "Kanga"

Having not named it....as I am not big on that...
Although - "Urban Assault Vehicle" comes to mind....but I had that on a 4Runner in the past that was slightly modified.
My daughter thinks its a monster truck...although she is 8.

I thought that I might add that I only call it "the big mess down in the parking lot" because almost every car next to mine is brand new and really clean looking. Mine has trail damage and doesn't quite fit in with the BMWs, Audis, brand new pickups etc.

I felt bad for my rover for making ppl think that I think it is a big mess. It is incredibly reliable and runs extremely well. I am blessed.

My D1s are named Loki and Bartleby. We got Loki first and had lots of little issues to deal with for quite some time. As Loki was the god of mischief in Norse (I believe) mythology, it seemed appropriate. When Loki was blessed with a brother, Bartleby seemed the sensible choice.
