Even compared to a P38?

A p38 is much more vehicle eh?

Knock on wood my h&h kicks ass and has been very reliable. It's my favorite rover.

The jeep I rented was a tin can with a gutless engine, bad transmission and not comfortable at all. The doors hag nylon straps that were used to limit then. Complete pos.

I like jeeps but it would be the last model year with the online 6.

I guess everyone else in the country disagrees.

They are a fad and most people accept what they are apparently. Besides people are.dumb. have you spent time in one? It's not like they have any competition though.

Remember H2s? Where have they all gone? JK is built just like an H2. Big, wide, can't see shit out of, fake "brutal-looking" controls, etc.

They still sell for outrageous money, though!

I'm looking for a 90s LC/LX next. I bought my wife a gx470 and really like the toyota/lexus brand & quality. It lacks a soul, but still nice on long drives. I'd also be really happy with another discovery. It will all depend on what's around when I move next. Hopefully it'll be California so I can sneak a smog failure discounted non rusty vehicle and register it in TX.

It's just a Chevy in drag.

They had such a nice brand, though, and it never had a chance to mature properly. If they could have held on for only a few more years, they'd be in a good place now; probably developing a wild compact model on a European platform and dabbling in hybrid nonsense to keep California happy.

Remember when craniac lifted his H2 into the air by the fancy tow rings because people said he couldn't?

I like the Hummer H2 . Its 2500 series GM chassis with the 4L60 OR 4L65 trans. There was a really cool H3 concept pick up truck. But all that ever got built on the H3 platform is that goofy looking Colorado platform truck.

A friend of mine was a Hummer service manager before they went under. He loved seeing the H2s pull into the service drive because they always needed a ton of suspension work, esp when people threw huge-ass rims on them.

I'd have bought that pickup if they ever built it.

If you had a choice to use primarily as an off roader which one would you choose. It would seem the choice has me in a bit of a quagmire. Giggity.

So have you decided yet?
Do they test emissions where you live?
I'll sell you a gasser or a diesel.
How 'bout both? A short one and a long one!

Yup, I hate them. I'd never own one.... Unless they put a useful pickup body on top that didn't cost $130k like the Brute does.

I'd have been first in line.

The thing would sell like wildfire. First-run production would be cleaned the fuck out. They have to know this...

That concept is close to ten years old now. I'd still have a hard time swallowing the $45,000 bill that comes with a loaded JK... even if it was a pickup body.

It may be close to ten years old, but it still looks like they rolled it out yesterday. That's an indication of a concept that was ready for production. Hell, they even have the chassis for it now.
