Keep it Rover, but get in there and make it better than new. I'd want to be blinded every time I pop the hood.

pretty sure many of us have sold vehicles that when looking back was a bad idea because the vehicle today is worth more than for what it was sold. I can certainly think of a few.

That's funny, because most of the time that's all I use my Engel for. When I go dicking around trails, or when the weather threatens, I make sure it is well-stocked with Mountain Dew.
Aside from that... Well... Every now and again it's justified with good food, but most of the time it's a soda cooler.
If I'm honest, I still think it was worth every penny. There's nothing like having cold soda wherever you go.

But I would go with the 99 D1, if and when I do it over again.
A RRC has better weight distribution on the trail and more leg room, but a disco has more space in the back and a better heating system. aside from that they are basically the same in my eyes. If you like keeping your rear quarter panels straight a disco would be better though. Oh hey I happen to have a cherry D1 sitting in my lot that is loaded if anyone is looking for one =)

Why is this? I wheeled my RRC for years without sustaining damage. A rear quarter panel of my Disco is currently dented from wheeling.
