Ran without one for over a year in my 89 RRC without any problems. Summers get blazing hot and humid here and once again no problems with overheating, not even close. The only downside was no heat in the cooler months lol.

5 hours to the northern suburbs. Been making the drive between Shevegas and Looesville now for 10 years. Honestly it is well worth the drive even if you make it down for the gorge trails late friday night and leave sunday early afternoon.
