Long story short, the Disco has to go. Here is a list of the items that have been replaced within the last 5k miles (as best as I can recall): Plugs. Wires. Fuel pump. Brake pads and rotors. Air filter. Water Pump. Serpentine belt. Other miscellaneous stuff. U-joints. VSS. That little brake...

WTT: 97' Land Rover Discovery for a Motorcycle

I should have mentioned that I'm selling it as a whole or not at all as I don't have the time to be taking stuff off of it. Michael

D1 heater controls don't light up

Pry the control knobs and dials off, you should see (I think two) screws. Pull the face of the control unit off; the bulbs (once again, I think there are two) are right there and tres easy to replace. Michael

    Fuel Filter Replacement - 96 D1

Fuel filter is up in the passengers side rear wheel well and not that hard to get to at all. I have heard of folks removing the wheel to get more access but it's never been that big of a deal to me. YRMV. Michael

Read any good war books lately?

You must read Gates of Fire; this is the book they made the movie 300 from. A history major buddy of mine turned me onto this book and I read it four times back to back. I'm up to about a dozen reads now. I usually read 150+ books a year, and have since I was 10 or so and this is either my...
