sounds to me like the trans torque converter is bleeding down.
try starting it up wait about 2-3 mins and see if pulls
if all the fluid is in the trans pan it takes a min or two to get the trans fluid to circulate and make the trans work
need to reset base idle and timing needs to be set to about 9 degrees
set base idle by closing off the idle air control valve(vise grips on the big hose coming from the idle air control valve) and setting the idle to 550 rpm
also clean emmision pipes I've seen carbon clog up in that t-piece...
