Includes a 2001 Discovery with Rovertyme winch bumper (sand blasted and painted flat black, winch guard bar has slight tweak) with 9000 lb Warn winch and Hella lights.
No dash warning lights (and all the lights work) runs great just took it on a 1000 mile trip.
Only reason I'm selling it all is...
I had the same problem when I replaced my motor.
Used the bottom of a plastic bottle from the recycle bin and zip tied it to the fan shroud and painted it black.
Been working fine for a couple years.
I assume the 4.0 is NON-secondary air and the 03 4.6 is?
Maybe a issue?
Not an expert it maybe be something you can have someone turn off in the ECU (with proper equipment) and at that point you might as well have them tell the ECU it's running a 4.0.
Or you could swap on secondary air...
Well just an update.
I finally got around to really digging into this, don't drive the truck much.
I had checked everything going back to the ECM and everything was good so this left me scratching my head.
Couldn't be the brown/pink 12 volt supply wire, right?
As it has all kinds the other...
I use a cheap pump up sprayer like my wife uses to spray her plants.
I think it holds a couple gallons.
I cut the spray nozzle off the end of the wand.
Fill it with trans fluid, pump it up, stick the end in the fill hole and pull the trigger.
