something for everyone to mock me about...

OMG, a heim joint that lasted thru a northern winter...WTF, you are lying thru your teeth...heim joints suck, they dont last and will cause you to kill a bus load of nuns driving back from feeding lost puppies and kittens at the homeless childs shelter

    steering links with heim joints

On the DOT issue...steering components do not require approval like brake lines. DOT makes a statement about end play and slop. while not DOT approved, they aren’t because they don’t have a testing program that certifies individual components. If they weren’t legal, I doubt the 20 or 30 major...

    5" Lift Springs

You can run 35’s on a 3” lift on a D2 as long as you use a skinny tire and live with 3 inches of up travel. Keeps the truck low so you actually don’t have to worry about rolling it on a off ramp going faster than 10mph. There’s a moron out here running a 14.5 wide on his, 4” terracrap lift with...

    Anyone Know This Person

there are very few things about a swap that are cheap...I have the Racepak (Smatrtwire) set-up for my buggy, including the IQ3 dash, but I'm using a 2004 motor, so it doesnt support a ECU that old with a CAN bus connection. Plain old manual senders and those intergate into the system, and gives...

    Anyone Know This Person

it doesnt have a guage pacakge per say, but has a CAN bus so you can intergrate to something and possibly the stock guages. No different than doing a LS swap, but the LS is cheaper (unless your buying a crate motor)

What's wrong with my RTE lift?

Do you even understand the diffrence between progressive and linear springs. No spring can be a true linear spring because the force applied is not a constant... I dont think anyone is making longer radius or trailing arms, just castor correct fronts and some stupid expensive arms that let you...

    Panhard rear

I'll see if I can find the pictures of MY truck when: Ripped the front panhard mount awy from the frame. It was welded both on the sides and along the bottom part of the frame. It tore 1" from the weld. This was in Moab on Golden Spike. Used Ratchet straps for a field fix Ripped the driver...

What's wrong with my RTE lift?

This statement will come back to haunt you very quickly... Do the shocks actually fit, you run the risk of topping or bottoming them out Why spring spacers? Did you extended your bumpstops? Believe ot or not, a SPRING lift does not increase articulation, just gives you more body clearance...
