I have 2000 discovery with the same problem. I need a block and have been looking around for a used engine but seems like i may run into the same problem as i have now. Slipped liner/cracked block. I am curious to see what you end up doing.

So is a slipped liner repairable? Can you can re-sleeve it? Has the truck become a parts truck now and not repairable. Just looking to what options i have. Have had the truck for eight years and kept it in good shape. Real shame to get rid of it.
