Been meening to hydro-boost my truck, you say this comes with the boost pump, where does that bolt up? Will it bolt up the same on a GEMS D1?

Do you have access to a welder? If so weld a hex-nut to the top and hit it with the impact. The heat will break the bolt free, the hex gives to a surface to turn with. For bonus points melt parafin on it right after welding, seeps in and loosens it all up.

At least you could run dual cases without a stupid-short rear drive-shaft. I would hate to have to install those sliders though.

The OP is in Colorado so motor swap laws may be different enough that the buick 350 wouldn't be too hard. As far as the Turbo 400, yes it does eat power, but that honestly isn't a bad thing in a Rover if you don't plan on an axle swap, I'm not worried about my axles with 33s and a Rover v8...

4.3 v6 is a better motor for the swap. It has plenty of power, can be mated to a turbo 400 just the same, is about 4" shorter so you can stuff in a much thicker radiator to solve the cooling issues you will have with the LS, and because it doesn't have nearly as much power as the LS you won't...

I've seen trucks, cars, buggies, etc running on jack-stands so many times it's rediculous. Would I be afraid to do it on flat level ground with good jack-stands, no, will it help track down your sound, not really.
