I’m considering the future purchase of 2004 Discovery Series II “S” model. I’m finding it’s especially difficult to find this elusive “S” model because sellers don’t know if they have an HSE, and SE, or an S. Are there ways of telling if a Disco II is an “S” model if not listed in a classified...
The Peanut ? 50th and Main
No trip to KC is complete without a visit to The Peanut. If you?re going to the Plaza it?s in the same neighborhood. This hole-in-the-wall bar is an absolute dive. When you drive up you will be thinking ?what the hell? ? ?I?m not going in there.? Park around...
The very reasonable reserve has been met so the race is on to the end. Check it out if you have any interest in owning a great old Series Land Rover.

Rust Issues
The frame and EVERYTHING under the Rover were given a healthy coat of undercoating when it went into service with the Ministry of Defense. This has done an excellent job of protecting all the steel parts under the Rover. However when/if you want to work on something under the Rover...
Let?s see if I can get this thing sold?
I?ve owned the Series for over ten years. It was originally imported by Rovers North in the late 90?s. The Rover started out life as a Ministry of Defense ambulance. It has less than 25,700 miles that I believe to be original. Highlights of the Rover...
Yet another shameless bump. Between DiscoWeb and LRX I?ve had a ton of inquiries and sent numerous pictures to folks but still no one pulling the trigger. Trying to think of other ways to sweeten the deal, just not willing to drop the price again. Have I pointed out the sweet a$$ ?Moose is...

Hey Marc,
Thanks for the kind words. Hope all is well in Mason City. Singing Camel did some excellent work on the Rover a few years back. If memory serves me correctly Marc did the unleaded head conversion as well as a bunch of brake work. Still have all the receipts showing what was done...

Mike,
Thanks for the lead. I e-mailed some info and a few pictures.
DiscoJen,
I see a Series in your signature line. Congrats, I?m sure you?re giving it a loving home. I?ll have another Series someday. A portion of the sale of this Rover will go into a Series I fund. Someday?.
Realized that I have posted the same picture of the old Rover sitting in the drive way several times. It performs well off road and has the battle scars to prove it. Here are few more pictures.
Who could say no to Tuley Mars (OES) as a puppy in that past picture?

Digging up an old post?
I still have the ?71 IIA. It?s been sitting in the garage collecting dust since I last posted here. Any interest in the old girl for $6,900.00?
