Honda50r what would you know about a well built truck?
OK I am going to weigh in here... There are builds with over the top attention to all the right details, and there are builds where things are just plain over the top for all the wrong reasons.
You have added hundreds of pounds of useless weight and have chosen "Super Gaz" suspension. You have put Dynamat up and sprayed Raptor all over the entire engine bay, and taken the time to bag the engine harness and heater core pipes instead of taking the extra 30 minutes to remove them. You sprayed over the fucking headlamp mounts for gods sake. Not to mention the interior work... I am not ashamed to say this "resto" is a joke! I literally AM ashamed for your client, if there even is one. I officially deem this the Ghetto Land Cruisers Build instead of, well, whatever the hell you were calling it.
Let the laughs continue.
Wow....thanks for the kind words and support!
Could there be a different issue here seeing as you have sold trucks before....trucks much like this...and..since we are in the same geographical area there might be some perceived issue that you have with us? Could that part of the reason for the kind words?
Since you don't know what we are actually doing, how we are doing it and you are only seeing a part of what we are doing there seems to be a bunch of conclusions you are jumping to!
You might have a point on the Supergaz. I want to try it out and see how it does but, since we are an OME dealer, swapping to a different suspension is not that big of a deal.
We have added about 150 lbs to the truck overall with the dynamat and maybe $50lbs with the raptor.
Useless is in the eye of the beholder. I wanted a very quiet, thermos like truck; hence the added time/trouble cost of the interior work.
We are interested in feedback and suggestions
