Hello fellow enthusiasts:
I now have had my DII for 7 1/2 years. It's got 132k on the ODO and I bought it with 55k off a lease.
Just wondering if anyone has reached that elusive plateau just yet. I have recently decided to go for it. I should get there in 6 years.
Any DIs out there with 200K? DIIs?

Please feel free to join the Club and tell us how fun or painful it was to get there. Let's have some fun.

lol..is that 200k loving miles, or 200k after 3 rebuilds, 6 electrical exorcisms, and one superlock-out? If only Honda took over Land Rover :D

I've got 272,000 on a '95 D1, heads have never come off. Hoping to join the 300K club, but I'm not putting the miles on the Disco I used to.

I have a 2000 D2 with 280k miles on it. The heads were just done. The interior is beat so I am going to put the engine in a shop truck and the body panels on my trail truck.

I also have a 2000 D2 with <100 k that the engine is completely shot It all boils down to maintenance I believe

My 1995 Discovery had 445,000 kms on it when I bought my P38. The person who bought it continued to drive it. Never had to do any major work to the engine except an alternator & starter. The P38 has 328,000 kms on it and is going to a new home shortly. The 2003 D2 I now have has a brand new 4.6 so I'll be awhile before I hit the plateau again :)

Our 97 Disco had 215K just before the engine took a dive and I started parting the truck out. Our 95 RRC just rolled the 200k mark about 2 weeks ago. Still running strong.

I only have 133K and have done way to many repairs so far. A few years ago I looked at a 2000 D2 with 280K. It was at a car lot.

Enjoy your Honda Passport. We love Rovers. For all their faults, they make us happy. Hondas don't.!!!

120 here. Other than the replacement of valve gaskets, the regular repairs, and regular maintenance : replace both idler pulleys, the tensioner assembly, front DS, rotors, brakes, coolant tank, plugs, wires, all fluids, blower motor, ABS modulator, and will probably have to replace the radiator before too long.
should replace the water pump soon and then I'll be on for doing the replacement of fluids again.

Ahh easyyy killer :) I love my truck but I wouldn't complain if the quality were a bit better on certain things. I'm really shocked so many have gone so many miles without issue.

I think its one of those grass is always greener things. I've seen more wierd electrical stuff happen to late model chevy and dodge trucks than my fleet of 90's junk, and everyone I know with a 22re powered truck seems to always be putting head gaskets on them.

I think mine are at 240, 190, and 180.
