2004 Land Rover Discovery For Sale Located @11746

176,000 Miles Total at this writing.
In the last approximately 45000 miles (receipts will show actual)
New
Engine / Driveline Engine Replacement all documented as done by Land Rover
1) New 4.0 short block and new heads installed by L.R.
2) New Heads
3) New Radiator
4) New Water Pump
5) New Modified Thermostat (Chevy Style) with Mod Hoses ( I saw no future in running a brand new engine at 220 degrees ,mod was best thing I ever did)
6) New transmission cooler
7) New transmission cooler hoses (only replaceable with engine removed)
8) New Starter
9) New rear drive shaft U-Joint
10) New rear drive shaft Flex Coupling
11) New Ignition Coil Pack
12) New Magnacore Ign Wires
13) New Y pipe with Cats (Atlantic British)
14) New Cat Back Pipe Stainless Borla Exhaust

Fluids- Always replaced before or on due date.
Engine always used Mobil 1
Transmission Fluid and filter replaced every 60,000 miles
Trany pan clamps are new last fluid replacement due to wear.
Transfer case fluid replaced every 60,000 miles and resealed at access cover.

Parts replaced within last 75000 miles
1) Tom Woods front drive shaft (its my second,I have first one ,needs rebuild)
2) Replaced old RTE 2.5 /3 inch HD Springs and shocks with new parts all around.( I always replaced springs with shocks as I carried heavy loads)
3) Hubs all 4 hubs replaced
4) Tires BF Goodrich A/T 10 ply on stock hurricane 18 inch wheels
5)
6) Airbags in rear coil springs (Firestone Airbag Kit)
7) Brake pads and rotors new Just replaced.
Less than 60,000 on
1) True Trac front differential
2) Detroit Locker rear differential

Electrical
1)2 x Optima Blue Top Batteries less than 2 years old. (NO disconnect or switch ,Batteries are in Series).
2) 15W /25 Volt Solar Panel with Powerstream voltage regulator on roof rack. Keeps batteries charged when camping
3) New Genuine Alternator 90 Amp
4)12 volt accessories wire at front grill.
5) Dedicated 12 volt power outlets in rear cargo compartment (Heavy duty dedicated wire from Batteries to rear cargo area.

Other Stuff
1) RTE front winch bumper with winch
2) Discovery 2 roof rack with
A) ARB Simpson II roof top tent. Roof rack side rails had to be removed to properly mount tent. I have the rails . Tent in excellent condition
B) 25 gallon water tank with super flow pump and piped to wash down nozzles and an outdoor shower.
3) Dog Guard divider in cargo compartment
Frame is rhino lined
To prevent corrosion
So many things to list
Gun safe or safe box mounted between front and rear seating compartment does not interfere with seating
This vehicle was used for overland travels and always cared for impeccably with genuine parts and lots of love
This vehicle was never abused with hard 4 wheeling.
It was built to be extremely capable
(Detroit lockers and front trutrac)
I am the second owner , I got this in a trade last year from the first owner .
NO AUTO LEVEL
NO AIR SUSPENSION
It was the simple long lasting mechanical
Model
Odometer mileage is high but it does not reflect that most everything has been replaced with new genuine LR parts
This vehicle is in great shape
Automatic transmission and transfer case approx
60000 miles on units when purchased as spares
