OK, the trip roster is officially closed.

Let's plan on meeting up at this gas station at 0800 on 16 May (Thursday). As soon as we're all accounted for, we'll head over to the Hell's Backbone Grill for breakfast and then we'll start rolling.

We didn't have any problems with late arrivals last year and I'm hoping that we won't this year, either. We'll exchange cell phone numbers, just in case.

Don't forget your golden ticket.

I'm excited to go. I would be working on my Disco if the weather was not supposed to be crap this weekend.

I did manage to install a new stereo and a set of DII cup holders last weekend.

I'm looking at routes and stops, my departure time on Wednesday (I have to work) and other variables, and 0800 may be a challenge for me. If 0800 works for the rest of the group, I don't want to hold anyone up so I may request an alternate meetup for stragglers.

Shite, I may not be able to make it. Just got awarded a big remediation & demo job - remediation is starting tonight but the full demo may not be authorized until 1st of May, depending on what we find in the remediation phase. Wife just booked May 2-12 in Mexico so I am already committed to (and have paid for) that trip. If this job is ongoing in May I can't afford the time away to do both trips.

I wish I was stuck in Kauai. We just got back from Kauai a few weeks ago. Whenever I take a vacation, I'm always ready and quite happy to come home. Kauai is the opposite. As the days go on, I can only think that reality is creeping back up on me.

If the Gulf Stream isn't too strong and if the boys up in Grantham do their part, it looks like I will be rolling in my own ride this year.
