Nitto Terra Grappler AT is the toughest tire I can find to fit stock 18" without lift or trimming. Good reviews. Anybody used them?

I have seen these offroad and know several people who have them. Great all around tire. Not the most aggressive when it comes to comparing to 19/32nd depth tires with big lugs, but they do very well offroad. Probably not the greatest in deep mud though.

I do...It's on my 2004 Disco stock 18" wheels. I used to run Terra grappler same size as factory. Then got a 2.5 lift and now running same brand but bigger size. I love it...Very quiet on road and does pretty good on dirt, mud and rocks. Not much option for 18" wheels.

Seems like you're putting the cart before the horse. Figure out what size tire you want to run and what tread pattern(mud or AT). I like my GY DuraTracs. They're an aggressive AT pattern and have 19/32" tread depth.

Intercotire.com makes some tires for 18" wheels. The Truxus and SSR from what I found in a quick search. They are about as aggressive as you can get but won't last long if this is more than just a trail rig.

I'm in a lot of washed out roads snowmelt/mud these days, and then onto the highway. Stock D2 tires are utterly useless in muck (obviously). I guess I'm just looking for the absolutely biggest lugs on standard D2 18" setup. Not a lot of options past the Nitto it seems. Those Intercos are off the hook, but I don't see anything "standard".
