Thx to all for the compliments on the Rover. It is a great Rangie and has taken us many places off-road in France and Italy. All heavily laden so guess eventually something was due to break.
Ah yes, the Achilles' tendon. Final night of a work event in Budapest at a nightclub dancing with a 20 something colleague when (like the Rover) it just snapped and I fell to the floor. And needless to say I'm way past a 20 something. Went to the hospital in Budapest, had a cast put on, and flew back to Switzerland for the operation. This was literally the first I drove in six weeks.
