Him killing a bear with a spear? Or him being a huge douche? Both are separate actions.

Killing a bear with a spear is 100% justifiable in my mind and in the mind of a lot of people who believe in primitive hunting. Whats not justifiable about that?

His douche nugget actions, the go pro on the spear, him having a douche-gasm and having his wife validate his "awesomeness" not so much.

I love the fuck out of some bird hunting! I don't do it with a fucking handful of rocks or a sling shot or a fucking spear because I have a shotgun. It's more accurate and when it hits it's intended target there is a MUCH better chance that the animal(bird) dies. If you truly believe that hunting a bear with a fucking spear is a good idea that should be widely practiced than I would argue you have little to no idea what kind of responcabiblty we as hunters have. I think most here are arguing for this camo-clad idiot out of some blind knee-jerk reaction to criticism of a PARTICULAR kind of hunting.

As far as "big game" hunting such as elephant and tiger and giraffe? A fool and his money are lucky to get together in the first place. And a fool with a gun and the "need" to kill an animal for something other than food or clothing is the worse kind of fool. He's a mis-guided and frustrated individual with self esteem bordering on non-existent.

What you BELIEVE I think about hunting is just that belief, conjecture, opinion. I hunt. I hunt dove, turkey, pheasant, and grouse. I have NOTHING against the sport of hunting. I have everything against the black eye it gets from assholes with spears and gopros, little girls with a guide, daddy, and a dead giraffe or rich dentists killing lions.

Brass ones to try to kill a bear then leave becuase it was dark and raining...

I've been within 40' of black bear numerous times and grizzly once. It takes a lot more balls to do it with the bear alive knowing that you would likely not stand much of a chance were it to want to take you out.

Try to get close to an animal and take a freaking photo of it alive. All the dead aniomal pictures look the same and to use them to prove the size of your dick does no respect to the life you have taken.
