Whats the best thermos out there? I know I can go to walmart or bass pro and get a regular old stanley but I'm looking for something that's the cat's ass. I'm tired of my coffee getting cold after a few hours. I want a hot cup at 10:30 in the blind when its about 15 out. I'd like it to hold at least 24 oz. and have a cup on top...

Suggestions?

Stanley is the shit, but you have to get it hot inside first. If you go to Starbucks, they fill it up pretty cheap, but more importantly, they'll rinse the inside with boiling water - it's stainless steel, so it takes a little heat to get it hot, but once it is, it'll stay that way all damn day. ...it'll also survive being bumped or knocked over, where a glass one might not.

I've had great experiences with Nissan Stainless. Vacuum sealed steel, they will take more abuse than a glass thermos.

The OP didn't indicate that it would be treated like a bowling ball. If knocked over, glass is fine, but don't drop it to the floor. However, for the price of one Stanley, I can break 4 or 5 glass thermoses. I have a Stanley and a few other stainless thermoses myself and like 'em, but nothing keeps it scaldingly hot for as long as glass will.

I have an Aladdin that works great and has batman on it. It keeps the hot things hot and the cold things cold, how do it know?

I have a nissan stainless that i've been using for years. Usually fill it up with hot tap water, dump out it wawa parking lot, and fill with coffee. As a test one time, I left it in there for 3 days. Steam still came out when I opened it.

Why not try an actual "Thermos" Brand thermos...its like saying kleenex or Q-tip.

I have a Thermos Brand Coffee mug. I pour my brew in at 6:30am and as long as I keep the lid closed, it'll burn my lips at 4:00pm.

I would drink 3-6 cups of coffee a day out of regular hotcups because they would get cold so fast I would chug them.

I switched to this and am only drinking the two cups my keurig puts in there. Donut Shop Coffee if you're wondering. love that shit.

I'm a Stanley man myself, and what has already been stated is true. I have always filled mine the night before with boiling water, seal it up, and leave it. Next morning, pour out the still hot water and fill with coffee. I work outside all year, doing this keeps the coffee hot enough for me, and I despise lukewarm coffee. I am going on 15 years with this same Stanley, and it is still working like a charm.

Just for info, the soup thermos from Stanley is almost as good too.

I'm picking out a Thermos for you. Not an ordinary Thermos for you. But the extra best Thermos that you can buy, with vinyl and stripes and a cup built right in.

You mean to tell me the Snow Peak douchbags haven't chimed in with their "gourmet" titanium "thermos"? Absurd!

HAHA.

I bought a stanley from walmart, seems to be better than the cheapo I got from a sales rep when they came to work. I have a smaller kleen kanteen insulated that I use as a coffee mug thats nice, has a solid top for it to be a thermos also. I still think I'm going to get a jetboil for hunting season. I can use it camping too.

I have this one. Stays hot all day and is indestructable. And the sea mist green color is sort of retro.
