Brake Bleeder Tool from AB

Anyone use this thing? Thinking about getting one 'cause bleeding breaks is a pain in the ass!!!

I love mine, its made by Motive. U can buy it elsewhere more less than AB.

A little more than I pad for mine, but still $20 less than those
(expletive deleted) guys at AB.

As for its utility, I wouldn't try to do a brake job without one!

I've never had much luck with brake bleeders. I stick with the two man system.

I have a motive, but after I pressurized it to 15 lbs. the cap came off the reservoir and it dumped the better part of a quart of brake fluid all over the driveway :banghead: .....of course, I was under the rear of the truck at the time.

For whatever reason the threads on my reservoir did not provide a tight enough fit to the motive cap. A few wraps of teflon tape around the threads solved the problem.

It's crap. I had one similar years ago. Perfect example of you get what you pay for. Buy the Motive, it kicks ass!! You won't be disappointed.

AB says it doesn't work on an ABS D1. . . the blue haynes manual says to get the bleeder by motive for a one man bleed.

Q: Has anyone used a one man bleeder kit successfully on a DI with ABS?:banghead:

AB is wrong. It works. It works on every euro-crap that I ever owned.
