Garrett as you know all of Afghanistan is off camber. Going off road here means old Soviet land mines. Hell we were warned about walking through vacant fields in the city (always find a herd of goats to follow) Yes goat herds are all over even in city of 4 million.
I like the Cruisers because they blend in with the locals so much better. Our excursions ,which are better armored than the cruiser ,stick out like a sore thumb.
I'm sure there are others on this forum that have much more experience than I do who can offer up a better opinion. I'm a relative rookie over here.
