Dirt bikes are a hell of a lot more better than a horse...
Only feed a dirt bike when you ride it
Feed a horse 24/7/365
Dirt bikes don't shit.
Horse gets broken, call a vet, pay 1500 dollars and have no ride for long time.
Dirt bike broken, lean it against the garage till you have some $$ to fix it.
A dirt bike can fit in the back of a pickup
Horse needs trailer.
Horseshoes = ferrier
Tubes and tires = 3 screwdrivers and dishwashing liquid
1 horse per acre.
Fifteen dirtbikes in a two car garage.
i have not fed our horses in months.
horse shit smells good! don't equate it to cow shit. night/day
broken leg is more like $10K+ if he lives. you get to call 1-800-DEAD-COW in the case it doesn't.
ferrier is $65 every 4 weeks.
1 per acre? yikes. i hope not.
overall our horses don't cost that much to keep. it's the "aftermarket" stuff that gets pricey. saddles, boots, etc.
i think the biggest bill i ever had was from floating their teeth and their shots. and that was maybe $250. hell a DI rearview mirror is more than that. haha
over the life span i am willing to bet you pay more per year on your dirt bike than i do on any one of our horses. you pay $4K for a bike? and then another $500+ on gear. and then add about another $2K+ a year to keep it running. keep it 3-4 years compared to a horse which you usually have for 20 and i bet the cost per year is less with a horse. not to mention they are a hell of a lot nicer to look at.
