D1: front brake calipers in the rear

Thanks guys! I like the idea of just doing the fronts, and using the rotors I've already got (they're still pretty new) and I will probably leave the rears alone for now. I was thinking of redoing the seals in my D1 fronts and re using them in the back, but I guess I'll just put them in the drawer for a little while until I decide.

Yes. Akebono makes a set for the DI. Performance is superior to organic or semi-metallic. EUR520 (front) and EUR518 (rear).

I found "organic" pads to offer the best performance, and the least wear of the rotors. Too bad the non-semi-metallic pads are getting harder to find for RRC/D1.

I usually go with the cheapest cheap ass pads from RockAuto. I think I paid $8 per set of D90 semi-metallic pads the last time I ordered. They lasted just fine and at that price I can change them more often. If you're not doing rotors changing pads takes about 15 minutes including pulling the tires off.
