...Sometimes the $ do not equal the cost of an item and sometimes the item that has the lowest $ cost is not the least expensive option.

Price vs value. CheapBastards don't get it.

The above was a general observation; I'm not implying that the O.P. is a cheap bastard.

Are the guys from whom you get competitive pricing gonna hold your hand through the process and future issues like I will?

Will they stand behind their product to the extent that I do?

Are they long-established Rover guys who've spent the last ten years+ working hard to try to be the best Rover guy in the US?

Will they still be in business when you need warranty service or other parts like I have?

I hope I didn't offend you. With me being relatively new to the Land Rover scene, I wanted to step back and do a bit of research before I pulled the trigger. I will most likely be getting a radiator from you.

The way it's looking right now, my Disco is going to take a couple of weeks break from the 50 mile trip back and forth to work. My wife only works 6 miles from the house so, she is going to drive it until we get a radiator. In the meantime, I get to drive her LR3..;)

It really picked a bad time to go bad. I had just registered for Tough Mudder Pittsburgh and that hit the wallet pretty hard.

Not offended.

It is just that many of us have been down this road a few times and it becomes tiresome to try to help someone and not have it recognized for what it is.

I have too many people call me for advice/diagnosis and I suggest a part and price and then they call asking for help installing the same part they got somewhere else.

I love Rovers and most of their owners but I can't do this for free forever.
