Was that the source of the leak or the seal? That would be odd…. Didn’t think there is any blue silicone, that’s just what the gas and dirt looks like but maybe I’m wrong.Just seems like a odd spot to develop a crack inside one of those triangle quadrants.
The top right quadrant would fill and overflow to the other quadrants and eventually overflow and pool to the outside of the pump securing ring. We could soak up the fuel and then watch it slowly fill up again. It would leak as long as there was pressure in the tank. Overnight the pressure would dissipate and not fill again. Pump and new seal are on order, guess we’ll see our guessing is right. Still just seems odd that the plastic quadrant would spring a leak but I/we may be missing something. Was that the source of the leak or the seal? That would be odd…. Plastic can crack over time with heat and cold. It’s a good thing you found the fuel leak, safety first and the D2 will run better, all sealed up, definitely better fuel pressure and better start ups.The top right quadrant would fill and overflow to the other quadrants and eventually overflow and pool to the outside of the pump securing ring.
