You can't buy the axles direct from RCV?

last I checked, been a while, NO.

I think the story was Ashcroft convinced RCV to have minimum order requirements.... rumors, of course. but makes sense though. If other rover aftermarket guys had RCV make their parts, but then had to ante up for minimum order requirements eventually only Ashcroft would be in the axle business.

One of several reasons I lost interest in rovers. MINIMAL options for way too much coin. how many gearing options for a rover? How many options for a Dana axle?

30 seconds? I think it was more like 60-90 seconds. The whole clearing was covered in smoke.

I've seen Mike drive on multiple occasions and if they survive his abuse most guys out there will be fine as long as they floor it with wheels off the ground. Which is how most of the people I've seen break stuff have done it.

That was tight though. I bent the rear bumper and frame ears. The truck still had balls of rubber all over it!

I bet I could have busted a CV if I wanted, exactly how you described. I used to cringe when I saw a guy spinning a tire in the air.....then it became amusing!

Pretty much correct, but rcv acted like they weren't that special; just different spline machining and broach on each end for d2's

I got turned off pretty quick by several venders and said screw it and went all out.

Never had a single issue with the "geometry".

Never broke an axle on 35's.

Big difference between a d1 and d2 wargasm, but wait you know everything...maybe a little reading comprehension would help as he's running 4.5" springs which will effect the geometry but understanding that would require something more than a third grade education. If it's a trail rig, really doesn't matter but hey, your the guy who does nothing but give guys grief about their trucks being stupid when lifted and trashed, but looks at that pos

Just reinforces that your a douchebag

Yep, missed the D2 part. When I met him he had a D1. Sorry to offend you. He should just put Toyota axles under it. Then he'd be badass. Or maybe he should just buy Kyles totally awesome truck. I hear people are fighting over that badass thing.

Ha. That's when I lost my rear locker in the semi-finals. I remember just thinking "fuck it" and stabbed the gas. Somehow the tires finally bit something and threw me across the finish line. I took 2nd place by like 4 seconds.

D chapman..... I never had a d1. Well I did, but you never saw it as it was only a brief daily driver. I have always only wheeled the d2.

Not offended at all…good to see you actually wheeled a truck, too bad it's just a rock pile. Come on out here and we can take you on some trails where the access makes that look like dirt road.

The reason I went with a toy axle swap was Keith didn't make a kit to convert a D2 axle, so I guess the guy's who did his conversion are idiot's too. Keep bashing Kyles truck, it's proven to work and reinforces your nothing more than a typical hypocritical internet dougebag…

oh, wait, wasn't there a event where you proved your one in person too…

I've been out there. Got the t-shirt and came home.

You bought the wrong truck. So did Kyle. If you like them, fine. Just don't get offended when you finally realize the truck is totally worthless and no one else wants a truck like that.

Yeah, the one where Galpin stuck his head in my window, started cussing at me in front of his faggot friends, then cried for months that he got his ass beat like a little bitch.

Too bad the trails we run don't have concession stands

I bought the right truck, took it to it's realistic limits and built what I wanted. How much did you sell your piece of shit for and as for being offended, not at all, especially by a hypercritical douchbag like yourself.

Did you ever think that maybe if you weren't such a retard that maybe the guy wouldn't have a reason to confront you. Your actions speak volumes for your true character, or lack there of

I kept the third members, axles, and the wheels and tires. I got $2500 for the rest of it. Sold the wheels and tires for another 1500. Put the axles and third members in another truck and sold that truck for $6500.
