I recently build a set of sliders and here are the pics from start to finish.

I build the two channels out of a 110in length of 3X6X3/16 steel, each being 54 1/2 in long.

I build a pattern out of cardboard, yes cardboard, to see exactly how it should fit over the sill.

The sliders were build out of 2X3X3/16 steel both 64 1/2 in length before being capped.

Both rolled to fit the contour of the doors. Each slider was fitted using 7-3/8 X 3 3/4 grade 8 bolts with nyloc nuts.

For my first set, I'm very happy with them. Enjoy.:bigok:

;) One of the benefits of having them CNC'd is not having to grind the edges.

:D The obvious roll in the front part of the slider.
