Can I give you money to change my title to 'Asshat'?

And what's with putting the LR3/LR4 section above the Range Rover section? :eek:ut:

The changes may feel a little strange at first but only because we've been staring at this early 2000's-era web design for so long. NY Times' website once looked like this and I hated every design change they ever made but 15 years later, I'm used to it and wouldn't want to go back.

I might be able to help with something. I'm gone for certain periods of time with little to no warning, though. I'm not sure how consistent I'd need to be. Most of the time it's only for a week or so, though.

The news feeds need to be updated, but the tech articles are very important, and need to be more easily accessible for both new content and reference. Many never even notice it's there, and it can easily be a growing and valuable resource. Plenty of people can write lots of new stuff now after all these extra years of experience. I've even got a nice stereo wiring diagram that might help someone.

That's something I've wanted to see for a while.

Whatever you change here, don't make the site white. It will give me a damned headache.:D

Cheers,

Kennith

I'm Jony Ive and this is going to be like iOS 8. I'll tell you want and then give it to you.

Just kidding, but only sort-of. Our old theme used buttons from the stock vBulletin theme, which was white background with purple and blue buttons. Those buttons look like shit on our grey background and they're all jagged. I'm flattening the design a bit, removing the background image and updating the icons with higher-res versions that match the green-and-grey theme. Buttons will be more crisp and easier on our tired eyes. The new look is actually quite similar to the old Discus board. Back to the Future.

So the old school DiscoWeb logo up top is to replace the old DVD banner, which was useless because the store is closed. Maybe we'll come up with something better or maybe we'll just keep it this way. What do y'all think?

How about pictures of Dan in his overalls? He pulled the one that was in the 30 days thread on EE. Maybe he has some fresh takes.
