It ran great on both injectors, so without placing it on a dyno it's hard to tell. Theoretically the gen 3 should be a little more efficient. I get about 15-18 mpg.

I have the 3rd gens I got from Timmy and I'd say I've had about the same result except I havent tracked my MPG because my speedo is off with gearing and tires. It didnt turn my truck into a hot rod but I suppose every little bit helps.

Also because (unless I am reading the tables wrong) those 0280155746's are rated in the high ohm catagory, somewhere between 12 and 16 ohms. The original Bosch injectors are rated at 4 to 4.5 ohms with the efi signal output of 12v. Also the oem's are 26 ish pounds per hour vs. the new ones at 19 pph but at the overall volume and at 195 - 199 cc's they're virtually the same.

With our lower rail pressures of 35 psi (albeit no big diff to 43 psi) I'm wondering about your real world experiences with them. I was thinking that the difference in resistance value would give you a problem with longevity.

but maybe my dumb ass is just over thinking this since the difference is only about 1.5 amps (driving the injector open with 2.6 amps vs. 1 or less) plus in this case the impedance is higher with the new ones so...

Jebus...somebody stop me... I just realized how OCD this shit is. I'll just try the NEW Ford #19's at roughly $45... Fuck it!

I did and that is the source of my OCD attack.

I saw that the impedance values were different but at that voltage the difference is so minute it is most likely negligible.

Thanks for the info Eric!

If that page was the source of your OCD attack, then you might have read wrong. The OEM are 14 ohm and 19.5 lb/hr.

I was running Ford injectors from Summit racing (genuine ford) and they were shit. Over fueling ran poor, it runs like shit anyways these injectors didnt help. I installed a set of unknown most likely genuine injectors from my spare engine, it starts faster idles better and gets better gas mileage. A lot of people have had good things to say about the Ford Racing injectors.

Are all of these part numbers for use in D1's?
Which one will work in a D'2 with a 4.6?
A friend did the 4.6 bottom end swap and some mild port work (mostly smoothing out the edges), and now the fuel trims are maxed. Was thinking the 19lb injectors would help.

Summit racing says they no longer carry the Ford C302 injectors and I have a call into fiveomotorsports that show the c302 discontinued. Does anyone have recommended source for upgraded injectors for a 4.0L GEMS?

Any noticeable performance improvement with these?
How were the rebuilds?

I'm building a 4.6 for a D1 trail only rig for a customer and found the stock intake could use some improvement just wondered if they were a worthwhile investment
