First you say that conservatives are being labelled, then you go on and make a blanket statement that is just as broad and damning, and you take the perceptive of "reality" which we all know is subjective.

Rather than insult me for not thinking like you, you should try to convince me with facts. This is the reason i cant take your politics seriously.

Rob, at least browse the link that I recommended to JohnB above. It is filled with facts that rebut nearly everything presented in Gasland.

It doesn't bother me in the slightest whether you take me seriously. I'm not out to win a popularity contest.

Anyone who spells fracing with a k doesn’t know what they are typing about. Unfortunately that is 90% of the web. In fact the AAPG (American Association of Petroleum Geologists) started using k just so the science would be found when the aforementioned 90% is searching the web.

Hydraulic Fracturing has been going on since 1954. Why is it just now causing problems?

Sure but you'd better do it if you go off with a statement like this -

FWIW, it is a pretty common occurrence. For instance, an aggregate of multiple images is called "mosaic," but the process of aggregation is called "mosaicking."
Technically, "fracing" is grammatically incorrect. Which is also common - like "arcing" as exhibiting an electric arc.
That said, either "fracing" or "fracking" is a jargon term for fracturing.

PT, thanks for the link although we're in W.PA. vs East where Lancaster is located. And yes, not sure of the test criteria, yet, hopefully the chosen lab can help. Any suggestions from your side??

Um, I've sent samples to Lancaster Labs from all over the country. If they aren't the best, they're damn near.

As for suggestions-save your money and invest in an activated charcoal filter cartridge for your home.

You wouldn't believe the crud that came out of the particulate filter I replaced last week.

I don't know anyone in the oil & gas industry who used k to spell fracing before 2009.

I have a water filter on the incoming line.
Gack.
It's a wound-paper filter, and it looks like coffee with cream after about a month.
I tried the charcoal version, but it was harder to tell when it was full of dirt.
didn't notice any taste difference between the charcoal and the non-charcoal versions.

When i think of all the hazardous waste I sent off for deep well injection, it makes me laugh at how horrible folks paint fracking as being.

I remember touring a deep well injection facility back in grad school. Talk about outta site, outta mind....

Because there was no youtube in 1954 and people didn't have the time nor resources to become unemployed hipsters who can just get in their Suburu and drive around the country video taping all the ghastly dangers of the practice.

Clearly.

For someone who gets all upset when someone uses a word that is part of the current vernacular that doesn't fit your standards, I'd think you would be able to spell the word difference.

Here's some facts Roberto-

The supposedly "clean" water in this video is filled with muriatic acid, high levels of liquid chlorine and other toxic and dangerous chemicals:
