Trying to decide on full brush bar front bumper.

ARB is shit, has crappy approach angle, but looks good.

HLC is quality but looks funky will full brush bar. Center bar is too high, no lower bars. Bumper's bottom sloped section is a little too tall.

RTE is quality but too skinny and wideface too fat on the outer ends. Center bar is too high again.

Trek looks ok except bars a little high, no lower bars, and center winch box section sticks out.

Tactical Rovers has best looking bumper IMHO, except bars slope forward too much, and center bar too tall.

Imagine the Tactical Rovers bumper, but with bars of the ARB. Is it just me or does that seem like the perfect bumper?

I didn't like the angle of the bars on the tactical rover bumper at first, but I've faceplanted on it multiple times and it has saved the turn signals and grill. I like it now.

The perfect bumper you are describing is Safari Gard

I am working with Denny on my bumper design from pics of what he has done and those I have seen. He will raise / lower / add / remove / tilt the brush bard how every you would like it. Take a look at his Facebook page with pics. I asked him about one of his bumpers as I thought it was a bit odd, and he explained that the front bumper was so massive and protective around and under at the customers request due to foreign shipment of his rover to his wife in an area where he wanted her to be able to have the ability to ram a car if she needed to escape a close encounter on the road with "unfriendlies". There is usually a story behind each of his bumpers, and the reason they look a certain way. They are not all his taste, but his quality with the customers request rolled in. I love working with Denny. He tells me what he can do as I ask about mods, and explains the supports behind the front face and any limitations that may put on the mods I want in changing the angles / taper / height of my bumper design.

The latest HLC Fab brush bar I saw was for a guy who liked the D2 factory wrap-around bush bar look, but wanted it with real strength on a steel winch bumper. See Denny's work below to accomplish this for him.

This HLC bumper may be a bit closer to what you are looking for. Again, this bumper is a little deeper in the center than the normal thin front bumper HLC Fab makes and the brush bar is tilted forward at little more as the customer requested, so he would not have to cut-away any of the grill and have easy access to the winch with the brush bar tilted forward. Height of the brush bar and tilt angle upward from the bumper is up to you. If you do not want the recover point mounts, he may be able to provided reinforced holes for mountable swivel recover points in your dream bumper pic depending on layout of the support structure behind the bumper face. The recover points shown are solid one piece steel that goes through the bumper and back to the frame. Give Denny a call he will work with you.

I was gonna go with HLC, but the price was out of my budget. I have the Tactical bumper, and while yes the bars are tilted a bit too far out, overall it is a quality bumper and I am happy with it. I dont have a winch in there yet, but it looks like I have enough room to mount one without having to cut any of the grill.
