They may copy everyone, but I wanted a SG and they had something close enough.

Agreed on the recovery points, they are a little hokey. Here is my fix. pay no mind to the broken winch or the absolutely awful line I took

and about as useful as a recovery point...they'll deform and be useless after the first off camber pull

It's a genuine Saudi grille. What do you want..

Maybe it's because the truck is filthy. I basically installed the bumper and ran through a huge muddy puddle.

I do like Denny's recovery points, but in person these seem very stout.

The clear turn signals might have to go though. Don't like them as much as I'd hoped.

Maybe it looks better in Saudi Arabia.. Not built for snow I guess. I have clear side markers too if you want to buy them.

thanks. I can confirm that the bull bar will holdup to the weight of a discovery.

The powder coating however does not hold up to granite.

Which part will bend on a recovery? Ring, round base, bumper?

The round base easily rotates so the ring faces the direction of pull. Maybe that changes things. Normally they don't hang down like in the pic, but secured horizontally with clips I haven't installed yet.

They are hoist points, built for a straight pull off the center or up to 30 degree's off center. Not designed any side loading and that size looks like it's only rated to a 6k WLL.

The ring deforms, the bolt bends and the depending on what gauge steel they used, the mounting point can deform.

in all the rigging booths at O&G trade shows its pin shackles on display, not swivel shackles. I figure someone did some number crunching at one point in their product development.

If you'd told me this before I'd have given them feedback. Ohwell. I'll just try not to get recovered from the side.

shouldn't have to tell 'em that...they should know and tell you it's not a good idea.
