So, as you can see, Sandra Fluke is not what she is being sold as. Instead she is a liberal activist pushing some rather radical ideas. Keep that in mind as the left holds her up in the spotlight.

I don't know if she is a liberal activist or not (who defines that anyway?) but what I do know is that an article she may have co-editied does not discredit her argument that Georgetown should cover contraception.

The left portray this issue as the right waging a war on women. I see it as leftist activists using the force of the federal government to attempt to destroy a religious institution.

This woman chose to attend Georgetown, which is a Jesuit law school. Obviously, they object to paying for contraception. She chose to attend the school for the express purpose of attacking one of the foundations of the institution.

Rush's comments have unfortunately made her a martyr to the left and she'll now be getting much more attention than she would have otherwise.

I read the article about that. She is playing it up now too, talking about a more formal apology from him would cut her even deeper. Attention whore.

Here's a quick shot of her linkedin page.

Activist: an especially active, vigorous advocate of a cause, especially a political cause.

Rob, if she isn't an activist, what is she?

How was that Rob? I just presented facts.

Refreshing that you presented facts. And I agree she is a passionate young lady, I'd bang her.

Make sure you bag it; if she's going broke buying birth control you can guess that she's got some miles on her.

For those of you that use the terms whore, slut, & other ad hominem attacks, do you believe it helps her agenda or yours?

Ask Bill Maher, too. He seems to be an old hand at throwing those terms around.

So because Bill Maher acts like a misogynist and uses terms like cunt, etc., that makes it ok for you?

I was addressing your question. I think that Bill Maher ought to included in 'those of you'.

And I haven't called her any names.

I did imply that she may fuck alot. If she's burning through $1000 worth of birth control in a year and can't find free condoms in D.C., I would argue that that is a reasonable, if not confirmable, conclusion.

In other words, slut.

Again, do think it helps her agenda or yours when you use ad hominem attacks instead of arguing the topic at hand, which is government intrusion into a religious institution?

Frankly, I think it's childish at best.

Use the entire quote, Mike. The inclusion of 'if' makes a bit of a difference.

Randomly throwing around 'whore' and 'slut' doesn't really get anyone anywhere in a debate.

I was observing that Rob may want to use a condom if he chose to 'bang her'. Sound advice all the way around, I think.
