I was wondering if anybody else is having problems getting what they have ordered from Denny. I placed an order for a rear bumper months ago and have not recieved it. He has been difficult to get ahold of (send many emails and phone calls). He has also stated the bumper will ship out within a few days every time I talk to him, yet it never gets sent out. Has anybody else had this problem lately? I know he does great work and is a trusted Land Rover bumper builder which is part of the reason I am so suprised by this lack of service.

These threads pop up on different guys all the time and they never lead to any sort of resolution or closure. 90 percent of the guys chime in and say "The guy is great... I wish he would marry my sister"... The other half say "What a prick..it took him an extra day to answer my email!!!"

I have been dealing with Denny for years.. Straight up guy and the kind of guy I would send stuff to with a promise of a check later... (which has been thinning out quickly the last year or so)...

Denny is human though and like a lot of small business guys we are all wearing many hats to try to get a low cost but quality product out the door to our customers.. (phone rep, accountant, office manager, production manager, shipping manager, laborer....and the list goes on) ..
In your defense Denny has sold you a product and should give you a clear expectation of when to receive your goods. .. I'm sure Denny wishes he could turn them around in 2 days..
Perhaps he needs to work on his communication on time frames to establish realistic expectations.

in the current economy many vendors are taking on more than they can chew because there is more famine than feast.
which leads to being slammed or just plain dead... when you're making a custom product like his and trying to keep your price down most things are made on demand..

I'm not coming to Denny's defense nor am I coming to yours.... I am simply saying go with the facts.

If Denny is unable to provide you with a tracking number then my simple resolution would be a full refund.

IF time is of no issue to you then wait it out.... If it is then the above option is the only option at this point.
You have a history of facts to make a wise decision.
He is not the only option out there and possibly the service/product you wish to receive is with another vendor.

The decision is yours... Not a panel of dwebbers.

You will get your bumper, but try to remain patient. The best parts take time. You have no idea how much is involved in the production of parts.

Damn! It has been 3 months hasn't it! 3 pack good for the next quarter or do you see your frequency bumping up any at all?

I seem to remember last year this time the 3 pack expired prior to you being able to use them all...

none of your fucking business
Denny is a stand up guy, and surely he will make it right.

He told me recently it was taking him a while to get his products out the door...this is not because he isn't going to send him but, because he is a one man show.

give it some time, your patience will pay off. I wouldn't take his unresponsiveness as anything other than him just being terribly busy.
