I am looking to order a couple holsters for my hand guns, and was going to order from Hume, but they are out of what I want for 4 months. Any of you know of any other really good holsters for $50-75. Thanks.

What kind of carry (strongside, IWB, OWB, etc) and for what gun?

Dillon Precision stocks some holsters from Mitch Rosen that look pretty good for the money.

Im looking for OWB, Sig P226 and 232 right now. With me being in my heftier winter form I don't really care for IWB.

I was looking at these... The DAH for my 232 and the 721 for my 226/220.

I'm a big fan of Fobus.I like the ease of just putting it on with out having to wear a belt. That being said I have a Desantis pancake for my judge that is really nice.

I like the looks of the second one. Dillon/Mitch Rosen offers a OWB in black for the 226/220. I think it's $70 or so.

With regard to the first holster you listed: I do not like SOB carry. I'm a klutz and would probably fall on it and break my back the first day.

I have a Fobus style holster for my 226/220, I like it for the range, but it's already hard enough to conceal a gun the size of the 226/220. I really like the Desantis holsters, those are nice, and I may have to order one.

Stu, those Mitch Rosen's are NICE! A little out of my price range until I have a career job and can get away from bagging groceries! I will definitely have to look into those soon.

Rosen's regular line is priced as high as a cat's back. It's worth it. The Rosen stuff sold by Dillon Precision is from the Express line; not hand boned and not as nicely finished. It's still better than just about any other off the shelf holster.

Remember to get a good belt, as a great holster on a shit Macy's belt won't carry worth a damn.

This holster style for the 220/226 would cover you pretty well.

This magazine pouch as listed for the Beretta 92 would work just fine with the 226 magazines.

The belts are $70 and cut up to a 44" waist.

Not a huge fan of leather holsters myself, prefer the molded type, like Fobus mentioned earlier. Keep in mind it's not about looks, but rather function. Can you get the weapon out easily and quickly? It doesn't have to look pretty IMO, as it is going to be concealed anyway. Comfort (everyday wear) and level of concealment of course both play a big factor in selection as well.

Raven Concealment Phantom or Dale Fricke Gideon Elite. Both are kydex and awerome OWB holsters made for concealed carry so they are low profile.

The most comfortable holster i have for my glock is my G-Code paddle holster. Its a small company started by some ex-military guys near Jacksonville NC. The cool thing is that the paddle can be removed and the holster can be mounted on other attachements and stuff they make. it is a kydex similar to the foubus.

Galco's alright. I've had a ton of their holsters and mag pouchs over the years. I think that the Rosen Express stuff is better gear, though.

Not really. Personally, I like the kydex holsters better; never cared for the leather type. The one I have for my G19 everyday carry, I trimmed down to my preference to facilitate easy draw; something that wouldn't have been possible with the leather type. But to each is his/her own. :patriot: Also, since I use the inside pant holster, I put a piece of skateboard tape on the inside, so that the holster stays in place when doing drills, etc.

A couple of my buddies have the Galco ankle glove and rave about it. I use the DeSantis diehard ankle rig, which is almost the identical, it works great for me. The ankle is not the ideal place to carry, but it's better than not having it at all.

Thanks for the tip on the G-Code paddle holster. I love this thing. It's very comfortable and I feel like it holds my Glock very securely. My only complaint is that the company must be run by a bunch of stoners. They took over a week to ship the order and didn't really communicate anything about the delay.

Not stoners; Galco does so much business that I think they honestly do not give a shit.

Waiting a week for a holster isn't too bad. I've waited over six months for a holster from Sparks, Rosen and Kramer.
