Welp, while i take my time to get my 97 Discovery back into working order, ive decided to take a look at some LR3s.
There are a lot of examples of them up in the PNW and its kind of hard finding ones that a good ration of not trashed/price.
What im finding mostly are:
super high mileage (190k+)
rotted sub frame/undercarriage
Camber adjustment tabs worn down/missing
abysmal interior (cracked dash/seats that are rough/dog chewed thru something)
Rotors/calipers need replacing
bad paint
parking brake is non-functional
airbags non-functional
Engine is good running order on all of them though (what a nice surprise)
The ones im finding that are acceptable/all working:
north of 12k-20k$
have no nav/4x4 screen
100-140k miles
minimal thrashing of the interior/exterior
My question with all things weighed, is the nav/4x4 screen worth it? Do i need it or can i live without it?
What would be the top limit you would pay for 100k-150k miles, everything functional, no issues with exterior/interior, no rust?
