I guess I try to justify it by driving my Civic 90% of the time. I need 4wd for work so I also use it then so maybe its not completely impractical. The Defender is emotional the RRC not so much. I mean at least I need 4wd occasionally, I know people that wont even swim in their sub WTF?
It is as simple as this: if you own a vehicle for emotional reasons such as a Land Rover, you have no business judging someone else for owning a watch for emotional reasons.
I own a few watches for completely emotional reasons. I have no need to justify the reasons to anyone else. When I look down at the watch, it makes me happy. Why does somebody who owns a sub need to dive? The sub is a beautiful, simple watch. It looks perfectly at home on somebody's wrist who wears a suit as it does on a diver.
For the record, I don't own a sub. I've tried them on and they just don't look right. I reject the sub for purely emotional reasons.
