Import a Deffender

You do not know what you are talking about.

If it could be done, I would have done it.

Fuel does not override the need for ABS brakes and airbags, not to mention crashworthiness.

I have a sneaking suspicion you have never ridden in a Defender, much less taken one apart. Had you done either, you'd know why I bring up crashworthiness.

Go back to driving mommy's Freelander in the driveway.

Ok I am back and have news. First stop with all the hate. I just love Rovers and thnk it sucks that I can not get a deffender in the US. Perhaps I should have a Mexican drive one up from Mexico. So this is what I am thinking and researching. I think if we put a Bio Diesel converstion kit on a deffender I can bring them in under alteritive fuel vichele. My attorney is researching this for me. I think we can find away if we all work togther I love this site and Rovers any help would be great.

good lord man... "DEFENDER" not "deffender" At least get that part right..

First of all, if you love them so much, then you would know that it's "Defender" with one "f". You've been spelling it with two "f's" throughout this thread. It's really irritating.

Second of all, more knowledgeable people than you have been down this road before....why are you not listening to them? Do you just have money and time to burn?

I'm not trying to be an ass, but c'mawn, it's not as though this hasn't been beaten to death a brazilian times before.

This genius seems to think he can figure out what the rest of us know to be impossible-legally.

I'm not gonna risk my business doing something stupid like this-I might as well be cookin' crank as trying to import illegal defenders.:banghead:

Well now, to be fair, I wouldn't say it's "impossible". Just that it would cost a fortune.
Like I said, cheaper to buy a NAS D90 or 110 and rebuild it to 2005 specs.

I actually starting to wonder if this is a troll.
