OK...I assume nobody has tried this since the time that you guys came up with the in-line thermostat mod, but has anyone ever tried to fabricate a housing to accept a 180 degree thermostat (i.e.- a Chevy), but still functionally allow the coolant to follow the stock routing?
I'm sure it wouldn't be cost effective given the existence of the in-line mod, but I'm curious how the results would differ if we changed the thermostat from stock to a 180 and all else remained the same...
