I have a 2001 Disco 2 with 170,000 miles on it. Last month the engine just cut off while I was making a turn. I had it towed back to the house and it started right up. I took it to AAMCO and they found nothing. The engine cut out again while I driving home from the AAMCO. I then had it towed to a local rover shop in Virginia and the truck started right up. The shop hooked the truck up to the diagnostic computers and nothing showed up on it. Last week the rover would not start for the shop and they told me that it is putting out weird electrical readings and the fuel pump is getting no current. (It basicly sound like I have a weird electrical issue and it might cost more to fix my rover than what it is worth. I will get better answer today when I talk to shop.)
Does anyone have any suggestions before I write my rover off.
