I agree with that.. You're right in the big picture of things nothing will change.. But, over here in our little picture things will change.

Yepp, for an individual maybe, but in the grand scheme of things, I dont think so.
Radical change will only come if Christie Whitman became president... :D :D

Again we agree Steve , its more convinient to forget those kinds of things though isnt it? I mean , that just complicates the whole issue right ?

I dunno-I was shot at an awful lot while I was enforcing the UN's No Fly Zone in Iraq. Those friggin bastards shot at us every day for years and once in awhile they hit something or someone. That, of course, was in violation of UN mandate... oh yeah, everyone forgot about all the violations of UN mandates. Apparently the USA took it more seriously than the UN because WE had to do a disproportionate amount of the work. Also remember that the US is not alone... there are MANY other countries helping out. Screw France by the way.
I say hoorah for every one of those mofo's that eats American made lead.

It would be a start, Sus, but it wouldn't cure the "their/there/they're", "hear/here", "its, it's", "to/too/ two", "your/you're" horrors. Plurals vs. possessives have been addressed elsewhere on Dweb, but that won't get fixed, either. Yes, as I've been reminded, it's the internet, I should feel joy at any comprehension ;)

KJ, "Ask me about dangling prepositions!" :p

People forget alot of things...
Like that when Iraq began massing troops and equipment on the border of Kuwait (the intent was obvious) the US told them both that it was an issue for Iraq and Kuwait to deal with. The morning I read that in the paper I knew it was a crock.
People also have forgotten that when Iraq launched Scuds at Israel, the US had to do some SERIOUS talking to keep Israel from retailiating, because Kuwait stated in no uncertain terms that if Israel attacked Iraq, Kuwait would attack Israel.

As for the election itself, and in general, every four years I pray that the congress and administration go opposite parties so there's a deadlock and not much get's done. I've come to believe it's our only salvation.
