Jaguar Land Rover to Start Using BMW V8 Engines Here we go.
Seriously for the US market they should stuff a 500 something HP Chevy LS engine in it.

The rate of crankshaft failures on ROW LR 2.7 and 3.0V6 diesel engines is insane. The diesel that's offered in the RR and RRS is really nice. I had some time to kill a few weeks ago, so I test drove a RRS with the Diesel engine. Man, it's so quiet and smooth; it just doesn't feel like a Diesel. It has tons of torque and in everyday driving it feels effortless.
Had heard the straight 6 was coming back to Jag but hopefully it'll extend to the LR line. I'd think the new Defender would be a shoe in for it
The ford coyote would be way smart. But Land Rover....
Isn't the Ford Coyote engine the same 5.0 Land Rover and Jaguar run?
It's a good read: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jaguar_AJ-V8_engineSo is the AJ V8 derived from the modular 3 valve Ford motors or another generation?
