Anyway I'm too busy trying to figure out why the heck Bearmach would make a winch mount and a steering protector that don't fit on the same vehicle together. Friggin Disco... Time to trade in on that Soviet Surplus T-72, but the Jate rings won't fit... even the wide ones.
Many props to the guy from rovergear who got my wide Jate rings to me in record time since I don't have a recovery point on the front of my D1.

You need a turret hole and sling like in the mil-spec Humvees. You have to be able to rotate that 60 around and keep your body behind it through 360 degrees of rotation.
